NES released Tetris, which had become a pop culture hit on the GameBoy. Even though the legacy started on the GameBoy, I still have to say that the Nintendo version bested it's competition for this particular month.

No classic this month; not really any standout games, but Goal! was probably my pick for the best game of the month; one of the better soccer games.

There really weren't too many classics released, but a couple underrated games may have been Air Fortress or Ducktales.

There weren't any true classics, but one game I thought may have been underrated was Dragon Warrior, as it was for me, the first TRUE Final Fantasy, just in terms of mechanics. No, it wasn't an actual Final Fantasy game, but it felt more like a precursor to the SNES game than the NES Final...

We were getting bombarded with games, and I think many felt the market would get saturated. What happened was we got a lot of bad games, but every now and again, a thrilling experience would come our way. That was the case this month, with the release of MegaMan 2, which in my opinion...

Only one game released in this particular month: Operation Wolf. It was a 1st-person shooter-style, and seemed like the beginnings of what would become Wolfenstein, Doom, and Call of Duty. However, in early development, these games were hard to utilize and accomplish beating.

This game didn't see any huge standout games, but there a couple goodies to be found, I would suggest Dynowarz or Legacy of the Wizard.

We apologize if there are delays; my computer has been experiencing some technical difficulties with viruses, seemingly in particular affecting webnode editing; however all seems to be fixed currently and we will continue forward.

We saw the release of Tecmo Bowl, which many consider the best NES sports game; personally I've always loved RPG's more than sports and side-scrollers, so I'd say Ultima - Exodus was a better game all in all, but Tecmo Bowl was decent.
