August 1987 Update

This was one of the best months in video game history.  We were treated to two of legendary NES series, both The Legend of Zelda and Metroid.  These games speak for themselves and revolutionized gaming, and it all started right here.  Admittedly, I found a few better than Metroid, but few rivaled Zelda; Punch-Out may have been a contender in terms of quality, but it was hard to follow that up with someting new and fresh.  Zelda was original and a new perspective of gaming.  Most of the other games released this month were bad; but Slalom was a fun quick play if you didn't want to exhaust yourself with Zelda or Metroid, as that is exactly what they were:  exhaustive; not boring, but they took you forever to  beat.
