Decmber 1986 Update

The only game released this month was Gradius; in my estimation the best graphics on the NES at the time, but it was just another side-scrolling Space Invaders-type game, and way too similar to 1942 which had just been released.  i think had this been released before 1942, this would have been the next big thing, but what do I know.  Either way, I haven't liked any Space Invaders game, even the original, but at least the original was, you know, original.
