3 Atari games changed the landscape of video games for various reasons. Pitfall! is to me the true original adventure game that would pave the way for side-scroller games to come, while Gyruss utilized the music engine of Atari like no other game, and Frogger played on the simplicity factor, creating what many consider to be a legendary classic.
On a site note, we have changed the images from basic gameplay stills to cover box artwork. For one, they are generally more aesthetically pleasing, and 2, it allows a smoother transition from one frame to the next, except in the case of SNES games.
