January 1990 NES Update

Still seeing an influx of Nintendo games, this month was one of the most unnecessarily saturated gaming months; just after Christmas, with only a couple games worth playing.  One in particular was the much anticipated sequel to Double Dragon; but this game felt much like the first for me, with slightly increased difficulty.  River City Ransom was essentially Double Dragon revamped with new settings and characters, and added a shops element, it was actually pretty decent.  One underrated game was Clash at Demonhead, which would later be referenced by the movie Scott Pilgrim vs. the World.  Pretty good mechanics there.
