This is one time where I will give the edge to video game versions over the board game. Although in my personal opinion, Othello is a board game at heart, not many people who were good at it had a counterpart with similar taste. Thus, this allowed those people to give it a chance. Nonetheless, modern-day apps give this classic an enhanced appeal.
